About Dr. Ryan Gloeckner
...or call me Doc Glock, or just Ryan. My primary focus as a chiropractor is providing client-centered care in clinic. I work as an adjunct faculty member and teaching assistant at the University of Western States in a variety of hands-on chiropractic classes. I am also a CF-L1 coach at Crossfit SW Beaverton, supporting athletes through proper weightlifting form and tough workouts (check out their site!).
In my free time I enjoy soccer, disc golf, CrossFit, cycling and climbing. Part of my work as a chiropractor is focused on helping my clients stay as active as they want to be. I make it a priority to participate in education workshops on physical rehabilitation, athletic performance, and pain science. I am committed to providing the best chiro care by continuing to invest in my education and skills.
My wife, Sarah, and I met in undergrad at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). Sarah moved to Portland for her nutrition internship and Master's degree. After completing my Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, I followed her out to the beautiful PNW to complete the University of Western States Doctor of Chiropractic degree program.
Sarah and I enjoy exploring the outstanding food and drink Portland offers! She delights in dinners out and I enjoy a good breakfast and strong coffee. If you've got favorite places we should be sure to try, I hope you'll share these with me when you visit me in clinic, located in Tualatin!
